Northern Mountain Sport is able to act as "Technical Advisor" (trekking and mountaineering) for organisations AALS licence.

Current and past clients include: Northumberland County Council, The Outdoor Trust, Dukeshouse Wood OEC, Aycliffe Secure Services, Skillforce (Newcastle), Harmeny Education Trust, Consett YMCA and Alien Rock (Edinburgh).

We also advise in overseas expeditions, particularly to high altitude and developing countries.

We can design and implement risk assessments, standard operating procedures as well as site specific and "in house" training and assessment.

We can deliver a number of seminars and slideshows from risk assessment and hazard management, to living and working in Antarctica!
