Aiguille de la Tsa & Tsalion Ridge

Today Michael and Gregor climbed their first alpine route and peak in the Arolla valley, Switzerland. We started from the Tsa Hut and climbed the West Ridge of the Dent de Tsalion (AD 3589m) and the East Face of the Aiguille de la Tsa (PD+ 3668m) for a classic outing. The Tsa hut is owned by the Val D'Herens Guides and the Guardienne has been there for 17 years. The atmosphere was fantastic with the entire hut eating outside on the sun terrace and Michael and Gregor even did the washing up! The lads managed a very creditable 10 hours hut to valley.

Erin Bramley:

Fantastic picture. Michael really looks like you. I'm missing Alps so much. Will be booking up for next year.
