SPA Assessment

Images from our last SPA Assessment course run in Edinburgh/north Northumberland (and an evening out with Michael). All four candidates were local climbers from Tyneside, Northumberland and Edinburgh. We visited Berryhill Crag, Kyloe Crag and Alien Rock and enjoyed some great weather. The images are from the personal climbing aspect of the syllabus where the candidates spent the day cruising up eight or so Berryhill classics like: Marcher Lord VS, Western Arete VS, Footsloggers Trip VS, Potters Way VS, Border Ballad HVS and routes that I haven't got in my guidebook! The personal climbing aspect of the SPA scheme is important so we attract genuine enthusiasts and practioners into the scheme. All four candidates passed the assessment.
