mountaineering in the NW Highlands

Another stunning week of weather in the NW Highlands of Scotland. Conditions are spring like and the key to a good time is keeping a flexible view on possible objectives. Over the last 6 days we've climbed in Glen Shiel, traversed Liatach, An Teallach, Clach Glas on Skye and climbed the classic 'Cioch Nose' in Applecross.

Chris Cullen:

Hi Tim,
I have finally found your site, but just wanted to say a big thank you for the exciting Feb week while based in Strathcarron.

Your positive encouragement allowed me to enjoy a new world of North west Scotland and work towards fully focusing on enjoying the climb rather than thinking about the fall line. Here I still have some way to go!
