Climbing in the North West Highlands

I'm based up in the Torridon area now for the first three weeks of February, working for Martin Moran. As an 'induction' day Martin and I went to Beinn Bhan and climbed a new route on a previously unclimbed area of the mountain (the impending wall next to Suspense Gully). We called the route 'Suspense Wall' and graded it VII 7 (though it is a bit runout for that grade). Its a great route with a lot of technical climbing in its 3 (main) pitches.

Martin descending Suspense Gully. The route takes the wall a little lower and to his leftan approximate line of the route. Full description will be in SMC Journal

The last couple of days I've been back to Beinn Bhan to climb the 'Traverse of A Chioch' (II) and today did 'George' (III 4) on the Torridonian Giant: Liatach with Frederic and Rod.

I can only access the internet now once or twice a week so would ask people interested in booking guiding or courses to be patient or try my mobile number, thanks.
