warm week on the west

I was delivering a mountaineering and climbing course this week for Rob Jarvis based in Fort William. The highlight for me was once again being present at Blairs annual rendition of Burns' " Address to a Haggis"(all you ever wanted to know about Haggis.....) which he recited flawlessly.

The course coincided with some warm and wet weather which meant we travelled a bit to find conditions (over to the Cairngorms for one day). Tom, Barney, Will and Rich all enjoyed themselves and climbed the East Ridge of Beinn a Chaorainn (I), the Runnell (II) and Goat Track Gully (II) as well as a good day in the Ice factor. I'm spending most of February based in the North West of Scotland so hope to add some images of Torridon, Skye and Applecross soon.
