Images from three consecutive SPA courses: two assessment and one training. The 'Northern Mountain Sport' courses were based in Northumberland and Edinburgh whilst the CCAT course was based out of Halton Training Camp (Lancaster).
These images show the diversity of the venues and rock types we are blessed with in the UK. In those 3 courses alone we visited two seperate types of sandstone (Northumberland), Dolerite, Trachyte, Limestone and Quarried Gritstone.

I’m back in Africa now, and just wanted to send a quick message to say thanks for your assessment course. I really appreciated your style of doing the assessment. Despite the nerves, it was good for me to confirm areas where I am doing well and highlight areas which need a bit more work.
Well, anyway. Thanks again for the course. I enjoyed it.
All the best,
Chris Moss

Dear Tim
Just a brief message to thank you very much for the thoroughly enjoyable experience on the SPA assessment t'other week - a great surprise to me as NGB's have never have much spark before! I thought your way of educating was incredibley effective, progressive and enlightening. A great balance of what is important, which created a real positive feel to the whole experience!
