Walking Group Leader Training

The WGL is the benchmark award for those leading groups in remote (though non mountainous) terrain in the British Isles. I've just run a course in the north west around the Shap and Howgill Fells as well as the Forest of Bowland for Cadet Instructors.

Anisha, Giles and AngusRichard Ayres instructing in the Howgill Fellscamouflaged bird eggs (grouse or curlew?)inside a group shelter - hypothermia scenario

Just looking at NMS website to keep up to date......the eggs in the nest are
curlew, almost definitely, judging by the relative size to the compass
Good pics of Michael.....when you are next at Bowden etc, give me a ring and
I'll come over and see you
Love
