climbing on the Ben

Had a good day out (thursday)with Mick and John climbing Two Step Corner V 5, in great condition. It was their first grade V and we had blue skies and perfect ice.

After topping out we wandered over to Number 3 Gully to 'rescue' two unfortunate students from Durham University who were momentarily stuck under the large and unstable cornice. A rope from above was gratefully accepted.

Thanks to Mick for the images.
