This new year and into the first half of January I've been in the French & Swiss Alps taking part in British Mountain Guide (BMG) training & Induction courses.

James Edwards & I also grabbed a quick route on Mt Blanc du Tacul (Lafaille route) and skied out by the classic off piste run: The Vallee Blanche.

I finished my trip in La Grave successfully completing the BMG Avalanche course
