Welcome...it's our first Space Week at the City Learning Centre - October 6th-10th 2008

We're not promising you aliens or visiting star ships from Orion, but we do have some fantastic activities on offer in collaboration with the National Space Centre.

We have the WOW Space Bus parked outside all week and we've given the CLC a spacey make-over too. We hope you all have a great time with us!

Space Week Activities

    THE MISSION

    There will be 10 half-day sessions.
    Morning 09:30 - 11:30 and Afternoon 13:00 - 14:45.
    Each session will cater for a maximum of 60 children and will be split into 3 equal time slots (approx 40 min am and 35 min pm)
    There will be 3 KS1 sessions which will be on Tuesday pm, Thursday pm and Friday am.
    Each child will take part in 3 activities in rotation.
    During each morning and afternoon session children will have the opportunity to have a video shot taken using the TV and Green Screen equipment.

    This means that each child should spend about two-thirds of the time with WOW BUS activities.
