Science Radio and TV

Today we welcome Yr11 students and staff from Thomas Hepburn school. They're here for a Biology and ICT Project Day whose theme is a scientific ethical discussion - "Should a couple be allowed to choose the sex of their baby?"

The students will explore the above by creating a TV Sketch Show and Radio Broadcast.

Northern Children's Book Festival

fish

NCBF is a yearly children's book festival organised by the library services in the region. Each festival attracts over 40 of the UK's leading authors, illustrators and storytellers for sessions in the region's schools and libraries. We've been helping NCBF revision their website to allow commenting and greater interactivity. We're advising too on using radio and video to add a virtual flavour to the events.
