Hatching Chicks at St Philip Neri School
What a fantastic event we witnessed today when we went to St Philip Neri School. We saw the eggs that were yet to hatch and we saw the chicks in the incubator that had already hatched.
The pupils in Year 6 thought of the idea themselves. They held sponsored events to raise the money to rear the chicks.
Once they have all hatched and are able to be taken out, they will take them to the nearby Bill Quay farm where they will be donated.
