Check out Day One of the Shuttle Crew's visit to Gateshead Stadium
Another amazing day with the NASA Shuttle Crew STS-119 at Gateshead Stadium.
Our mini Poetry Festival ended yesterday with storming performances from Paul Cookson and Nick Toczek. Earlier in the week, Nick, Craig Bradley and Gez Walsh set the tone with dynamic sessions and expert workshops, leading the children attending to create their very own space and alien themed poems.
It's been a cracking week and one that we're very likely to repeat in the Summer Term.
We'll be adding podcasts and vodcasts from the Festival over the next week or so. And...we'll be busy creating a 3D Space themed game featuring the children's work and their video footage. More on that later.
Meantime....enjoy this!
