Screenonline education zone is a free resource developed by the BFI (British Film Institute) to help all subject teachers get the most out of moving image in the classroom.
Here, you'll find subject-specific, curriculum-relevant resources, including starters, plenaries, detailed lesson suggestions and worksheets, linked to films, TV programmes and extracts featured on Screenonline.
Screenonline is the single most extensive publicly available resource devoted to British film and television, and is entirely free to registered users in secondary and further education and libraries - users in other locations can see all but the moving image material.

It enables schools to identify where they are, and shows the practical steps they can take to improve their ICT use to benefit the organisation. In many areas, it complements the work schools currently undertake for Ofstedās Self Evaluation Framework.
