Another set of podcasts from Year 6 at St. Mary and St. Thomas Aquinas. In this set of files, for journalistic writing, the pupils got into the role of a newspaper editor.
Year 6 from St. Mary and St. Thomas Aquinas have come up with some audio files to help with revising the genres of writing for their SAT tests. For each genre the pupils are to think of a character that typifies that genre. Then they are going to get into role, try to advise each other through the role of the character and what they should include in that genre of writing. For instructional writing they decided that a policeman was the most appropriate character.

I have been looking into using our Podcasting system with a view to producing learning resources to support the curriculum.
The first attempts are maths related and not intended to hit any particular Key Stage but just ideas of things that can be done.
I have uploaded three Maths based podcasts which could be used at the start of a lesson.
I would really appreciate any ideas for resources using this technology and relevant areas to support which can be mapped to specific curriculum targets.
