I’m Johanna Smith, Jo to my friends. My day-to-day job at the moment is Regeneration Team Leader in the Economic Development Service of Gateshead Council.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my job, I have a brilliant team and together we get involved in some really interesting projects, a lot of which you’ll be very familiar with. All the changes you’ve seen at Gateshead Quays, the Baltic, The Millennium Bridge and The Sage Gateshead, my team had a hand in making them happen!For the next 6 weeks (from the 6th October to the 19th November) I’m trading in my job as Regeneration Team Leader at Gateshead Council to take part in a Marine Conservation and Research Expedition in the Seychelles!
