Check out a new ictGateshead hosted weblog - INSEA. Travels and Teaching in South East Asia (Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam) as experienced by Katy Thompson and Joe Alexander.
This is a fascinating look at cultures widely different from our own. Katy and Joe have just begun teaching in Cambodia where in one school, the day starts with a visit from the ice-cream man!
They need your help too. If you've got activity ideas they can use in the classroom then visit the site and use the Comments facility to share your expertise.
The site is updated regularly during the week with news, travelogues and some fab photos.
We value your opinion... please take time out to feedback on ictGateshead and our services.

Hi Joe... Hi Katy
You seem to be having a great time there. Looking at the images and reading your blogs makes me think how much we take education for granted in this country. I wondered if it was possible to get some audio so we can get more of a feel for the place. I know you have lots to do teaching but it would be great.
Also do you have a picture of the Ankor Wat guy

Hi Joe and Katy,
Just a short note to say thanks for sharing your amazing journey with all of us. It has been absolutely fascinating and quite humbling to see what you have seen.
